DANCE AS EXERCISE

Were there times where you have been like, “I wish I could be healthy, but I am too lazy to go to the gym. Well, there is a great solution for that! And it is to hit the dance floor, since this is a great whole-body workout which is not repetitive and boring. This is a great for your heart too as it improves in cardiovascular strength, this can help in balance and coordination. There are may areas of your body that dance can target. Some of these examples contain our core where it is one of the most important muscles for dancing since this is the center of our selves which require us to balance. Our arms are included for a better presentation of our movements, Legs on the other hand helps us move around the stage which include our glutes, quads, and hamstrings where these are engaged for moves like jumping and tumbling, and lastly, our back which supports our whole body like our core. As you can see, there are many parts of our bodies that are used in dancing, and which would further improve both our physique and health in a more entertaining way compared to working out in the gym which would be boring, repetitive, and draining. So, give dancing a try! At least 30 minutes everyday which burns between 130 to 250 calories similar to jogging and see the rapid improvement of your physical, mental and social health.
